Malawi Church Project - St. Mark’s

Greetings, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my brothers and sisters in God’s vineyard of the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd in Wichita Falls, from your brother in Christ, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Pilirani Banda.

It’s another year that God has given us all to continue working for him in various Church missions. It is my plea to you all, brothers and sisters, to honor the chance that God has given us and continue being faithful to his mission. Let us all remember that we are called to help others to know him as it’s stipulated in Mathew 28:19. It is no wonder that, in conclusion of our prayers, we says, “GO IN PEACE AND SERVE THE LORD”; this means mission work is not for us singly, but collectively. Together, we can raise and make the name of our Lord known to many.

This evangelism happens in different ways, including through giving people a better place for prayers (good Churches). Luke 4:16 and Mark 10:1 indicates that our Lord Jesus Christ used to go into various synagogues to preach and teach the word of God. This encourages us to continue constructing churches, for they are good places for evangelism.

At St Mark’s, we are geared to finish construction of our church which started in 2015; we have started fixing windows hoping that very soon we will start lime putty and floor. This church will be one of the most modern and bigger churches in our diocese, with a conference room and offices. We still need your prayers and support, for our will is to finish this church this year.

My wish is that some of you should come and attend the consecration of this church. We will be communicating through Fr. Elmer at each and every stage moving forward.

How to Help

We ask that you prayerfully consider making a donation to the diocese in Malawi to assist them with finishing this wonderful church and tool for outreach in southeastern Africa. Click the link below and include: “Church in Malawi” in the “What’s this for?” box.
