Join us to celebrate the Ascension of Jesus Christ. On this feast day we commemorate the occasion on which the risen Christ is taken into heaven after appearing to his followers for forty days (Acts 1.1-11, Mark 16.19). The Ascension marks the conclusion of Christ's post-resurrection appearances and is his final elevation of his human nature to divine glory near the presence of God the Father.
